The pegs fit firm within the bench they can't fall out but can be removed if desired. The bench has a rubber gasket within each peg hole. The bench is packaged in a colorful cardboard tray and shrink wrapped. Bench measures 9"L x 3-1/4"W. Age 2 years and up.
