Feels high quality, but features are lacking.

Love the car seat and dock for this travel system5 stars there. The stroller, however, leaves something to be desired. It is made with high quality materials and mechanically very sound, but design choices were made that don't make a ton of sense to me. Issue #1: The 5-point harness is a pain to buckle. You get acclimated over years of use but it only goes together 1 way and heaven help you if your kid is squirming. Issue #2: The underseat basket space is almost laughable. Zero chance any diaper bag will fit in there. A blanket and a hat are pretty much all we use it for. Issue #3: The seat back adjustment is a friction clip thing that is impossible to adjust with 1 hand or when the kid is in the seat. Issue #4: The parent tray is a separate accessory you need to purchase extra, and the child snack tray USED to be a separate accessory, but now it's just complete discontinued. Even though they still sell this stroller. Make it make sense.

Not compatible with uppababy

They discontinued the uppababy adapter and continue to advertise it as compatible. Very irritating! Had to get another stroller to adapt for our newborn.

Dissattisfied with my purchase

I am very dissatisfied with my city mini 2 stroller. I noticed very early on that it is very difficult to strap an infant into the stroller as it requires multiple pieces to come together in the right directions to finally click into place. Specifically, you have to thread one piece into another on this narrow line and then clip it into the base harness. I find that this is very difficult especially with a constantly moving infant. I also noticed the storage compartment on the bottom is practically useless because it is very hard to place anything there, even something as common as a diaper bag.

Stroller is great - car seat is terrible!

We love the stroller itself but unfortunately the infant car seat is just terrible. Our big guy has hated it from day one since he felt so squished and hot in it. He is often sweating after just 20 min car rides with the AC on, hates being in it for long periods of time since it squishes his shoulders even on the right height settings just overall a bad design. We swapped to a different brand car seat and he now has zero issues and would nap for hours!

City Mini 2 Stroller- AMAZING

It's very easy to maneuver and it's great when going "off roaring." It doesn't get stuck on anything when walking on a bumpy surface! I wish I got this stroller when I was pregnant and had it from the start!

Great experience so far!

Our travel system stroller arrived quickly and was so easy to put together. 1 box contained the stroller which only needed to have wheels and shade canopy attached, very easy to do, and 1 box contained the infant seat/base which I think was fully assembled in the box (can't remember completely). We're so excited to get to use this with our first baby!

Misleading- Not a Jogger

So disappointed the main reason I wanted this was so that I could jog when my baby is old enough. In the main description it doesn't say it isn't meant for jogging, but it is mentioned in "description" underneath. I find this really misleading & am upset that I'm now stuck with it. I've only taken it on walks to the park & it's not great on uneven terrain. It gets stuck fairly easy & is actually pretty heavy. I was hoping to take it on trails as well but after the park, I don't think it'll function well. It's an okay stroller overall, but alas is not a jogger.

Love it!

I have been using the stroller and car seat for almost 7 months. The stroller is absolutely amazing. I love that I don't have to worry about puncturing a wheel, and can still take it on trails. It's also compact enough that I can take it into a store and not take up too much space. I would definitely recommend this stroller. I've read complaints about the basket size but that hasn't been an issue for me. I use a tote bag for a diaper bag, and can fit quite a lot of stuff in the basket (yesterday I had the tote bag, stroller rain cover, bag of groceries, my rain jacket, water bottle, and small purse!). The one thing I wish were different is that even when the seat is in the most-upright position, there is still a bit of recline to it. Sometimes my baby is leaning forward trying to sit up straighter to get a better view. This seems like an easy fix from the company for future models. I might just use a string and McGiver it to be tighter / more upright. I read a lot of bad reviews on the car seat. I don't have any complaints. I love that I don't have to rethread the straps when my baby grows, just slide the head rest up (I can't imagine having to retread everytime!). My baby is 17lbs and 27" long at almost 7 months old. His head is in the 91st percentile! So I'm surprised we haven't had any issues with the fit, given how many reviews state their babies don't fit at a smaller size. I don't think it will last until 12 months, but I think we can get another month or two out of at least. If I were looking to purchase again I would probably skip the travel system though and just start with a convertible car seat. It is nice to bring the seat to and from the car but it's for such a short period of time (I stopped doing that around 5 months when my baby was heavier) and I haven't connected the car seat to the stroller even one time. Everyone told me an infant car seat was essential but I don't think it really was considering we have to buy a second car seat soon anyways. Just something to consider while you are shopping! :)

Great stroller for on the go

I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! Love this stroller for quick in and out of the car situations. I was in the market for a stroller that I could easily fold/unfold and store in the trunk of my sedan. I have a larger stroller that i use when I am out in the park or when I go somewhere i need my son to be able to recline, however that stroller is cumbersome and I hate lugging it around and taking space in my small trunk so this Citi mini is perfect for those quick errands around town. My son is 6 months old and about 19/20lbs. This stroller was perfect for his size. In fact, it would be perfect for a larger baby and even a toddler. There are adjusters on the stroller that allows you to adjust it based on hight/ size of the child. The material is lightweight. No padding and can't recline so don't expect that in this stroller, but that leads to it being lightweight which is the purpose of this particular stroller. I was able to easily open and close this stroller with one hand while holding my little one in the other hand. It also comes with a sun/rain shade for when you ate caught out and about. The three wheel design makes it very easy to maneuver (much easier in my opinion than the four wheel design). It has one click button to unfold and one pull to close and lock the stroller in a neat foldable package. I was able to do this with one hand. Another thing i loved about it was the simple instructions for assembly. I was able to assemble this on my own in less than 15 min. No tools were needed. Everything was click and go. One thing i would like to see changed in this stroller is the adjusters. I had to stick my hand thru the back of the inside fabric of the stroller to adjust. U less there is another way i am not familiar with... it's small flaw and should not sway you from purchasing this stroller. Definitely recommend!

Look No Further

The City Mini 2 is easy to maneuver. I like that it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's easy to fold and store. The fabrics used are high in quality and is very durable. The storage basket is a good size. I was able to store a lot under the basket including a baby bag, my purse, and groceries. I used the City Mini 2 on a daily basis My child seemed very comfortable in the City Mini 2 stroller and prefers to stay seated. I highly recommend the City Mini 2. I received this product as part of the Stelar Product Panel.

Easy fold travel stroller

I was given the the Baby Jogger City Mini 2 in exchange for my honest review. It is a great stroller option for travel or quick trips out and about. I'm not sure it is the most durable stroller for long-term use (multiple babies), but that could really depend on use. It's lightweight and quick and easy to fold. I have to admit that it always takes me a minute (or a few lol) to figure out how to fold a stroller, even if I'm familiar with using it. The City Mini 2 is different, and so easy to fold. I've recently used it at the airport and was impressed at how easy it was to fold while juggling my kids before boarding. Another pro that make this stroller worth purchasing is how smooth it navigates through crowded areas or busy sidewalks. My son seemed comfortable and enjoyed when we swerved around the sidewalks for fun. I wouldn't take the stroller "off-roading" or jogging, but that's why it's called the city mini - it's perfect for city use. It also has a large storage basket (a little difficult to access) and is compatible with multiple other brand infant car seats. The only major cons I see with this stroller is that it doesn't offer a cup holder or storage tray, and most accessories are sold separately. However, there are a lot of accessories you can add on if desired. I wish the stroller included a simple cup holder for the child and even a small pocket or something to hold the parent's small accessories. If you are a new parent, you might not realize how important these features can be.

Absolutely love this stroller

I have nothing negative to say about this stroller! It's simple to put together and doesn't have a lot of unnecessary parts or features. I love the black color and the simple, clean and sleek look of it. The fabric itself and the seat are very comfortable and my littlest one is super happy when he gets to go for a walk and ride in the stroller. I really like that you can elevate the bottom so the baby has a foot rest if he needs it, and this also creates a little more space below for storage. The storage basket itself is a good size, and secure. The netting is high so it wouldn't be easy for something to fall out of it. The stroller reclines, or baby can sit upright, and even bigger kids can use the stroller, which I appreciate since I have four kiddos of various ages. I love taking it for walks because it's easy to push and goes over bumps and cracks in the roads perfectly. The umbrella at the top does a great job of keeping rain or too much sun out of my little guy's face. It's easy to fold and unpack, and easy to store. It's very compact and would fit into almost any trunk. I would highly recommend the City Mini 2. I've tried the first City Mini and liked it, but this one rides better and is less clunky. The sleekness is probably my favorite part! I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great Stroller

We've always been a fan of the Citi Minis and thanks to Stellar Product Testing panel I got to try out the City Mini 2. We've had the GT before so I thought that it would blow the 2 out of the water but I was wrong. The storage is so much better with the 2. Coming from a stroller where the storage isn't the greatest this was my favorite part about the City Mini 2. With multiple kids it just makes lugging their stuff around so much easier. Love being able to fit a diaper bag under the stroller with room to spare. We love how easy it is to fold and unfold. My two year old loved the big canopy he's not a fan of the sun in his eyes so that was a great touch! The only thing lacking with the stroller is a tray or cup holder but you can always buy that separately.

The easiest to use

This is an awesome stroller! I have owned previous versions of this stroller and this one is such an improvement. It looks so chic, my daughter is so comfortable in it and it is very easy to push and maneuver. It was easy to put together right out of the box and I love that it's not too heavy. It's like an umbrella stroller but just a little bit better! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this Stroller!

Nice alternative option

I received the City Mini 2 from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like this stroller as an option for when I only need to have 1 child in it. It folds up relatively small and is light enough to lift. The sizing is great for my 1 year old and my 3 year old, with plenty of room to grow. The basket also has plenty of room, but is a bit awkward to put things in because of its positioning below the seat. One of the biggest things I pay attention to on a stroller is the brake and your ability to use it with flip flops. It is doable on this stroller, but not the comfiest. The ride is decently smooth over multiple surfaces, but when comparing it to the other stroller I have it doesn't measure up. The quality just isn't as high, but the price tag isn't as high either. Overall, I would recommend this stroller for people looking for a decent ride, size and basket without the weight of other strollers.
