Stop mechanisms on the drawers keep baby safe by ensuring drawers can't be pulled all the way out. The changer dresser also includes an anti-tip kit to further enhance safety by attaching the dresser to the wall. My daughter and i researched many many changing table/dressers. She was wanting a changing table that could later be a dresser. Couldn't believe we found one that matched the baby crib she got from her baby shower! i had her build the baby crib first to check out the quality of it. She told me all parts were there, no dings in any pieces, and she felt confident with the sturdiness of it. So we proceeded to buy the matching changing table. It too was sturdy wood, which of course was our first concern because we wanted it to last as a dresser, all pieces were there, and no dings on any of the pieces. So thank you Overstock!

Have had the changer/dresser for 5-6yrs and quality is still great!
