The quality of the crib is great but the mattress does not adjust to other levels. It is near impossible to get a small infant out of the crib, as you have to be 6 feet 6" tall to reach down to the low level. If a toddler that can stand up, then it is easy to grab them under their arms when standing and get them out of crib. Otherwise, very impractical to not have mattress adjust higher up., ,,,,,
