We bought this crib 4 years ago and it has been used by two children. Perfect size for a smaller room. I love that the mattress can be in three different positions, yet, it does take time to make the adjustments. Very sturdy little crib. It has been bumped around and has a few dings and scratches but has held up very well. The mattress that came with the crib is what we have used. It is waterproof, firm and works well. I only purchased a quilted mattress pad for a mini crib to make the mattress more comfortable but still safe. I would definitely recommend purchasing this crib if you are short on space.
