These are the most miserably uncomfortable sheets I've ever had the misfortune to sleep in! They're stiff, rough, scratchy and made me sweat. They can't possibly be 100% cotton as listed because 100% cotton doesn't make you sweat in winter. I don't see how anyone could've thought this awful fabric was good for sheets -- maybe for dish towels or curtains, but not something touching your bare skin 8 hours or so. I had to get up in the middle of the night to change the pillowcases because I couldn't take the nasty fabric rasping against my face anymore. (Too tired to change the sheets.) I hoped washing would soften them, but after multiple washing they are only marginally softer. Never in my life have I felt sheets this uncomfortable. Bed Bath and Beyond has lost me as a customer!
