Child Craft Kieran 6-Drawer Double Dresser

Was more difficult and time consuming to put together than anticipated. Also didn't line up exactly as expected. I like that it has a matching changing table attachment and it has mostly held up and well

The dresser looks nice at first glance, if you didn't look too closely at the drawers which don't line up perfectly. It was also missing bolts unfortunately. We didn't want to wait for a replacement hardware to be sent, since we needed to complete it ASAP, so we had to find something that worked at a local hardware store. We could not find the exact bolts, but had to drill and make other hardware work. In addition, ballbearings had fallen out of one of the drawer rails which was bent. I had to bend it back. Really? Disappointing experience. I can see why it was on sale. Shoddy. It was also really awkward to assemble as the Allen wrenches are hard to angle into the tight space they give you. You could only do 1/8th turns. So, low score on design. Very frustrating assembly altogether. Makes me wonder if our dresser was a return purchase from another customer. Moreover and regrettably, we are sort of committed to this dresser, especially after all that work improvising and putting it together. It functions. And in order to make things match, we might have to settle for getting its matching highboy. If we do, I do so with trepidation, not looking forward to assembly.
