Max and Lily Farmhouse Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Trundle

The frame isn't as sturdy as we would like. It wiggles even when we tighten everything up. It was ok to assemble. The finish is very blotchy looking and dark. I thought I had read that you can use an 8 inch mattress, but that doesn't fit on the trundle.

Purchased the Max and Lily Farmhouse Twin over Full bed with Trundle spring of 2023 for our beach house rental. It has held up well thus far and creates an nice space saver for the room yet provides enough sleeping arrangements for up to 4 kids. Adults could easily useit as well. The color is a bit different then I expected, but the gray color in person Is fine. Assembly is a bit tricky and can have you redoing pieces if you are not paying attention. I had a handyman do it and it wasn't quite right and I had to walk through it with him to correct a few pieces. Unfortunately a chunk of the wood split and fell out near the screw hole leaving a fresh unpainted wood mark on the side where you climb up but still it's ok to use. The system is stable when fully assembled BUT would not recommend a lot of horseplay. I used hybrid mattresses that came in a box from this site and they work well. The trundle mattress was from another twin bunk but I also have a twin bunk board on the top for added strength given I rent my home weekly. Overall it's a great stylish piece for the beach that is a nicely updated version to all the old standard Bunkbed systems.

Very solid bed! Pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness overall; the solid wood construction definitely makes a difference. The instructions are fairly straightforward, but I would consider it above average difficulty. Also, it is possible to assemble with one person by competing the bottom bunk, then the ends of the top, then the sides of the top.

Bought this for my teen. It was quite the adventure assembling it but rather worth it. We've used all 3 beds at gatherings and our guests have loved . It is very sturdy!

Decent bed. Not the best nor the worst. The finish is much darker and brown than the photos. I was expecting more of a gray scale wash. Our handyman put it together and it's not super simple. But not horrible. We haven't used it yet so I haven't put in practice. Overall, decent just wish it wasn't so dark.
