Max and Lily Farmhouse Twin over Queen L Shaped Bunk Bed

With 1-2 uses, the bunk bed boards are splitting and have made the bed unsafe to use. One of the cracks is at least 9 inches long and has grown in width. It's caused us to fear that the bunk bed will collapse onto the lower bed.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality! Very nice, easy to assemble.

Great bunk bed! However it took forever to put together, it comes in individual planks.

I wish I could give a higher rating, this bunk bed was well above my expectations. From the quality packaging, solid wood product and easy assembly. There was only one dent on one board from the delivery and I put that board on the back side of the bed. Very high quality bed..I will be buying another one forbmy other guest bedroom. I was missing a pack of screws for the top bunk mattress brace, but had some extras screws at home that were compatible to what was needed.. Again I was very happy with the bed and have already reccomended it to others.

This is just what we needed for the guest room. Mom and dad can sleep in the queen and granddaughter can sleep in the twin. Looks great. Heavy and solid. We put the queen together one evening and then the next day did the top twin. One person could do this but a few parts it was very nice to have someone hold things. Came in 2 boxes. One of the boxes was 130 pounds. If you look at the pic we don't have the twin mattress yet but it is a great set up!

The bed went together fairly easily. It did take 3 of us though. I wish there were some written instructions. Looks nice in the room.

My 8 year old absolutely loves her new bed. The fact that we can get rid of the top bunk when she outgrows it and still have a nice queen bed is definitely a positive. This bed is sure to last many years to come.

Nice color in grey! Easy to put together!! I did it myself, 67 year old grandmother!! Now the grandkids can be in same room as their parents when they come to visit

Me and my wife got these bunkbeds for our daughters room. They fit the aesthetic very well. They are very sturdy and seem well-built. We are grateful we went this direction. They were very easy to assemble and took approximately 3 to 4 hours to finish both.

Good and sturdy bunkbeds that went together easily and are aesthetically pleasing. We are using these beds in a short term rental so the quality was important. I like the L shape so the bottom sleeper is not so closed in. One of the railings arrived with a crack, but Bed Bath and Beyond was quick to send out a replacement part.

Great bed, took a bit of time to assemble but pleased with the end results. I would recommend this queen/twin bed. Perfect through the teen years.

Just started unboxing. This is extremely heavy and came in 2 boxes and while I was able to move them, 2 people would be better. The finish looks fantastic and I can't wait to have them set up.

I ordered this Queen over Twin (normal twin, not twin XL) for a guest room. It arrived in 2 huge rectangular boxes 130#-150# each. Upon opening it, I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE COLOR. The Barnwood Brown in the photos is much lighter than the furniture that arrived. The bed is actually very dark brown, almost ebony. I immediately called OVERSTOCK and asked for help with the unusually dark color. They didn't offer any help other than a full return with shipping at my expense and repurchase of another bed. I was disappointed as the bed was not the color pictured on Overstocks website. My husband and I put the bunk bed together and it took hours. It was moderately difficult, the instructions were mostly pictures. All the parts were there but I would say it takes 4-6 hours with 2 people. Another disappointment was the slats under the twin and queen mattress. They are not painted. They are natural wood color. So when you lay on the bed and look up under the twin you see the mattress, the natural colored wood slats, and a silver metal rod. See my pictures for details. The bed is not heavy duty. The construction is adequate, the overall weight of the furniture is fair, the color is very dark. I probably would NOT order this bunk bed again. The bed color and unpainted slats were the main reasons. Please see my pictures for details of my concerns.

It's a lot bigger than I thought it was. The assembly is not hard but the directions and pictures are not clear at all. It's super confusing. However, other than that a friend and I have spent about 2 hours and where about 3/4 of the way through. I got the white one. And you can also make the bunk separate from the bed

We were able to assemble fairly quickly and my son could not be more in love with his bed. We are in love with the floor space and overall charm the bed as added! Plus it's hard to find a nice twin over queen combo and this was exactly what we were looking for.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Well made and mostly defect free. Took about 4 hours for my teenager to assemble. I chose Barnwood Brown but the boxes that arrived said the Queen was Barnwood Brown and the loft was Expresso. But they matched. Would buy again.

Stain was a lot darker than I expected and more matte. There is essentially no protective finish on the wood. Also wood grain not as pronounced has in pictures. Be seems sturdy and assembled fairly easily.

Great product. Very easy to put together and durable. I was skeptical at first on the weight limits but once it was assembled my husband got on the bunk it barely moved. Highly recommend !!!
