Only 50 inches high, this space-saving low loft design is great for smaller spaces and safe for younger children. Top bed features tall 14" guardrails, so the bed safely fits standard mattress sizes. Staircase with rounded edges offers comfortable, easy climbing. Added bonus - staircase is reversible and removable, so it is flexible to work with any space. Solid, knot-free New Zealand pine wood adds strength and stability. All Max & Lily products use a durable, low VOC finish. The slatted head and footboards and flush, color-matched hardware give this low loft bed a clean, modern look. Instructions, slat roll, and required hardware are included. With solid plywood slats and a metal support bar for the top bed, this sleeping surface can support 400 pounds of resting weight. This bed meets or exceeds Federal safety standards for kids furniture.
