Got this in the unfinished. This is made of rubber wood, so not the best wood choice out there. Right on the box, it says this product has traces of formaldehyde, so I am not happy about that. Why wasn't that in the description?

I was surprised by how large this actually was which is great. The unfinished wood is nice without any toxic smell and is sanded. It took about one hour and a half to put together by myself… Definitely would be easier with two people. The instructions are not good but you can really figure out where everything goes on your own. I did have one Bolt that was deformed so I wasn't able to use it and I contacted the company… We'll see what happens, they do leave their number within the instructions. The only other really challenging part are the spring hinges… There is no instruction on how to position these or anything. There are some pre-drilled holes and they don't lineup so you have to almost clamp them with your hands and have someone drill or screw in the screws to kind of hold it in place. This did bend one of mine but you can't really notice. The last thing that definitely bothered me is that there was some particleboard, as I thought this was completely solid wood. They use a particleboard floor piece and also one woven into the side piece… That's disappointing. Overall though it's a nice looking piece that's very sturdy and can hold a lot
